You can only get tickets if you exchage empty containers of Sunsilk, etc. through Lopues outlets and other shopping centers. I'm really confused, though. XD I want to get this straight. LOL. --- You want it chilled? Kidding. It's really cold for me right now. It's gloomy outside and I just made that simple banner. x] Frankly, I somewhat like this kind of weather, but I don't really like heavy rainfall that much. Lightning and thunder combined is not for me. I miss a bit of sunshine. :D --- A lot of concerts are in store! Vanessa Carlton. James Blunt. The Click Five. DAUGHTRY! P!ATD! Hale's album is finally out! I want to get a copy of their CD. Actually, I'm really planning to. I SO want to. I heard from the HALERS that it is more upbeat, more happy. There were others who said that the melodramatic touch is not that evident in this album. But, I think it's all good. I have heard Pitong Araw on radio waves already, since the past weeks, and I have to agree. :) ---
If you are a big fan of Anberlin, or like to listen to this band, await for their new album, which will be released in August of 2008. It's entitled New Surrender. Quoting Wikipedia about its overview: "The album will be "guitar-heavy" containing massive guitar parts..." Interesting. ;) And about the album title, according to lead singer Stephen Christian: "We will all come to the point in our life where we have to admit that we feel defeated, that something has conquered us. We must change, not because we want to, but because we desperately have to. We can not take life in its current suffocating state, even to admit such desperation shows that we are feeling deserted, wandering the barren desert, a shell of our former selves. It is only up from here, it is impossible to sink any lower into ourselves or our circumstances. But we can be salvaged, a deliverance. No vice can stand, no fix can take. The thorn in the side can be removed, but you have to be willing to admit and surrender. Surrender your habits, your lifestyle, your past, your present, and your future. This is your new surrender. The new surrender." I think that DOES explain it. It's true. Reality, in other words. --- Currently, with the weather that we're having in Bacolod, it's not that good for the Panaad sa Negros. If it doesn't rain, it's alright. At least, you don't get the heat on your back. I noticed that it rains really hard during the night or late afternoon. So, if you go to Panaad, you might as well bring umbrellas and jackets and raincoats. You don't want to engage into mud fights... or have a free, cold shower with your clothes still on. XD

That's how I like to call it. If you are into hardcore and electronica, you got to give them a listen! :) Visit their MS here. I like their merch! The t-shirts are so cool! I simply love all those tees. XD --- I heard PULP Summer Slam was a blast. True? I guess so. I want to see videos of Mahatma and Darkest Hour. xb Ground-breaking. --- It just started raining again. I call it summer rain. And it's already evening but the sky has this pinkish-orange touch. I'm off.
|
It has been raining again. And heavily. Not good for Panaad sa Negros. Hopefully, it doesn't rain again for those who are planning to watch Imago later at 9 PM at the Panaad Park Stadium. I just heard them on the radio at about 12 NN. They have a repackaged album-a special edition as what Aia referred it to as. So, grab a copy! :) Speaking of another band, I've mentioned earlier that Bamboo is coming to Bacolod again. To reiterate, it's on May 1, at 7 PM. Location is on Lacson Street, meaning, it will be closed/barricaded around there. It's sponsored by Teletech. Go mark that day on your calendar! :) --- I went to Angie's house awhile ago. I stayed there until 4 PM. We did another video [Yes, we do like to film!] This time, we weren't included in the video but we became assistants. It's for the Colgate contest thing. Whoever wins gets to be the next star of Colgate! LOL. Fresh confidence! Dapat lang! For more info, go to colgatefreshconfidence.ph! It was the usual fun. But it drizzled. And it was cold. xb So here I am now, typing this. It's the PULP Summerslam today! I wish I could be there. I want to see The Jumping Jacks actually, and the rest of the bands. Dream, catch me! XD Drifting to another topic... It's almost the end of April. One more month. Then, it's back to school. Not that I hate it. It just seems to be such a busy 'job'. Especially that I'm going to be a junior. @_@ Julienne chatted with me just this morning. She told me I was number 2 in the list of the TOP 50. That means that I belong to the best class again. XB My sister's number 14 or 22... somewhere there. It feels good to know that. But, it also means that my classmates from last school year might not be my classmates this school year. 9E was really the best... Sounds cliche'. Although we also were the BEAST class somehow. xb Oh well. ^_^ Summer's almost over. I still have May. Bamboo's gig. My dad's and aunt's birthday. Then, I'm off to Cebu to renew my German passport. June 10--pasukan ulit. woohoo. I'm not falling into tiny fragments yet. I'm still that one piece on a finished puzzle.

I'm typing this and I hear thunder again. It had been raining a bit just this afternoon. Actually, I don't exactly have anything to post. I just felt like it. xb No particular reason. Well, first off, I have UPDATED my list of Pinoy underground bands! I tell you, ang dami talaga. I'm continuing it tomorrow. It's as if everyday, whenever I go 'explore' Myspace, I stumble upon another and another and another. It always gives me this 'wow' factor. LOL. Hey, that's why we have to support our very own homegrown talents, don't you think? SUPPORT PHILIPPINE UNDERGROUND MUSIC! Ü Well, Panaad sa Negros starts tomorrow. Imago's performing. I have no plan yet in going there, but I'll see. Hopefully, it does not rain during the duration of the festival. xD And Bamboo's coming back to Bacolod! I think it's sponsored by Teletech. Watch out for them on May 1! I don't know about the venue just yet, though. So, there. That'd be all for now. :)
|
I UPDATED my content [Click on miscellaneous.]. Yes, the list is getting longer, and I am still searching for more bands. If you know any other Pinoy indie/underground bands, let me know. I'll put them up, too. And if by any chance [ I wish...] any Pinoy indie/underground band stumbles to this blog and wants to be added, tell me. :) I'll be glad to list you down. ----- I've been to the dentist awhile ago. I have grown three wisdom teeth and I wanted them checked if they're actually coming out straight. Thankfully, they are. ü Those days when I was growing two wisdom teeth on the left side[up and down] was really hell. It hurt real bad, just like having tooth ache. Though, I never experienced that. LOL. The third one [now on my upper right] has never hurt, so that's really a relief. Now, the dentist had said to me that the last one [which in my case, is the lower right] would probably hurt and not come out straight. That meant that he might cut part of the skin of my gum. Something, something... which I couldn't understand. But I think you get the idea. If not, Google wisdom tooth instead. XD ----- I'm going to babble about this again. There was Masskara and now there's Panaad Festival. I'm actually somewhat looking forward to it, but there's just this one thing. It's summer, and it's practically hot, especially noontime. So, I do think I would never be in the mood going to Panaad or the Panaad Stadium with that kind of weather. LOL. I would rather prefer going in the late afternoon and in the evening. I mean, most of the activities happen during that time. ;) One thing I really want to do is see bands. Like, that's what I really want to do. xb And I do. That means, I don't digress. Thing is, by the time school opens again in June, I know bands might flock here again. Just maybe. But based on this school year, bands did come here. I did know that Bamboo was coming. I couldn't go. Though not a fan of reggae, Brownman Revival came to Bacolod, too. Then, there was Typecast. I never knew they were coming until a Killerbee DJ was talking about it. And it was the day before. So, I missed it. Mojofly, too. Practically, the only band I saw live was Callalily. *_* gahd. I sound desperate while rereading what I just had typed. I'm not really. It's called ranting, and I'm about to think that this entry is going to have the suffix -less fixed to it soon. UseLESS. XD
Heck, I'll be in Manila after two more years. That should give me opportunities. ^__^

Let's go back to that day when there was the brownout and lights were back on again. So, I did go back to ChitChat, not caring that it was past 7 PM already. As expected, the chat was done already and there were still some chatting. I got to know the YM IDs of Miggy, Mong, and Calde! At least. :) It actually makes up for the uhmm, 'misery' I felt because of being unable to chat. --- Well, Kitchie Nadal was here. And I got to hear her through radio. I was not able to go watch at Robinsons. xb I checked Youtube this morning and there are two videos posted already. You may want to check them out. :) I'm feeling a bit lazy to post the links, so just type in kitchie nadal bacolod. ;)--- Nothing much is up this summer. Aside from the much-awaited Panaad sa Negros... Few days ago, and as I've mentioned, I read in the newspaper that Sponge Cola's performing. Imago, Aiza Seguerra [sp?], and Sam Concepcion are also performing {sponsored by Convergy's}. I want Chicosci, too! :P That's all I know so far. But I definitely want to watch SC. But 9 PM? Permission seeked by parents. LOL. I'm going to listen to some music now.

SHOCKING HELL. Did that really need to happen?! Thank you so much, CENECO. And, I'll get back to that later. So, I arrived at Anna's house at about 1 PM. Since we arrived first, we pretty much had nothing much to do. We talked a bit, then, I tried logging in to Multiply. And it logged in! Surprise, surprise. Anna downloaded an installer fo Mozilla Fireworks because I could not download it from my computer. Everytime I try, an error screen appears which totally sucks, considering that MF is actually user-friendly. I did have MF before, but one day, it just wouldn't run. Uninstalled it. xd We did a video, as always. Pretty funny actually, for a short one. xb While waiting for my dad to pick me up, we did some more talking, internet-ing, and watching Charmed on VELVET. That just never fails. :D Of course, my dad was on time, and at exactly five we where on the road again. I wanted to be on time for the ChitChat with Miggy
and Mong. And now take note, this is where my 'shocking hell' rant comes in. xd I was there, logged in at 5 minutes before 6, mainly because I wanted to be on time. Many Vampirettes where there already, so we chatted some. By 6:05, Miggy was on. Mong still wasn't. :) Then, I was saying hi and all that when all of a sudden---BROWNOUT. I cried out. Walang kuryente? Ngayon pa?! I was just beginning to chat with Miggy and Mong. It felt like my one and only chance... ANd then, all I get is bad timing. The one-hour scheduled brownout took its toll. BAAAAADTRIIIPPP. :[ Sayang. I felt really miserable after that. I know, I know. It's seems a bit shallow 'crying' over it like spilled milk. But that is exactly how I felt. CENECO, I hate you. X{ Thank you so much. v_v Electricity was back at 7:19. I kept track of time. lol. I was hoping that they somehow might still, by any chance, be online, but when I went back, wala na sila. I'm sad. But, it's alright. Somehow. That's life. Cliche', but reality. Otherwise, expect the unexpected, like the overcoming of darkness in your room, while facing the computer all happily while chatting and about to type something and get CUT OFF. How nice is that? Not really. Oh, well. It's a chance taken away, but I'll cope with that. LOL. The drama... xb At least, I got to talk about something and vent it out. There's always next time. Hopefully. VMPRS LV FRVR. ^__^ --- Going back, I tried downloading from the USB, and the error screen appears. I gave up. Then, I decided downloading Opera, and thankfully, it worked. I'm back on Multiply. I guess, my Multiply account hates IE. I think it was trying to tell me to switch browsers. Gahddd. xD PLUGGING: Kitchi Nadal, tomorrow at Robinsons Bacolod, 3PM! Promoting her album Love Letters. :)
|
I can't seem to sign-in in Multiply. WHY? It doesn't say that the username/password might be wrong... It just automatically flashes back to the sign-in screen. Weird. xd Have you encountered this? Maintenance? Don't think so. Oh no. :d --- Well, we've been having brown-outs almost everyday for one hour, and it's somewhat annoying. I mean, it's still really warm outside, even at night. When you wake up the next day, you got this 'sticky' feeling just because of no electricity the night before. xb boohoo. Oh, I miss the rain. It's not a spoiler for me this summer. xb --- I'm out later and going to Anna's house to hang out with the others. Probably, we might be making another video for fun. And I'm trying my Multiply account there. Because, it's the sheesh for me right now. As If it might actually log-in at another's computer/IP address. It won't hurt to try... :D --- PANAAD SA NEGROS is eight days away, I think. April 26 is the start? I heard Sponge Cola's performing... True? And there will be other band concerts but I don't know who they will be. --- Vampire Teentalkers, don't forget! ChitChat later at 6 PM with Miggy and Mong of Chicosci.

EDITMinor correction. lol. It's on the 19th, not on the 17th. Kitchie Nadal's in Robinsons Bacolod on a Saturday. Photobucket doing maintenance? LOL. The image of my layout's not showing. xb --- Anyway, I just got my Form 138 this morning. Report card distribution was in the HS Covered Court. Only a few people were there, considering that it started at 9 AM. I'm happy! I only decreased by one point in three subjects, namely, Filipino, Math, and Elective. Surprisingly, at least for me, my Fourth Quarter general average is higher than the past quarters. Normally, for most students, it would be the other way around. Here's the run-through of my general average in each quarter, so you can get the picture. :) 1st = 94.49 2nd = 95.02 3rd = 94.55 4th = 95.35 FINAL = 94.87
Congrats to those who got honors! GL, SL, and Achievement. You guys deserve it. ;) I'm such a nerd. *_* NEVER ENDING RADICAL DUDETTE. Better 'positive' meaning? :D And it's still unbelievable that I got a 92 in Computer! XD Oh, yes! Hands-on activities the whole school year without so much of a lesson. That proves that learning is still possible! xb I really want to see my exam papers, though! But I can't. --- I'm enrolling tomorrow. La Salle, here I come again. ^__^ I really missed school... kind of. And it's always nice to see familiar faces again. Ta-ta for now. :] Actually, I don't know what else to rant about. lol. sunny awhile ago. now i hear thunder. rain? woohoo!

Nag-register ako ulit sa CandyMag. Teentalk, I'm back! :) Although, it's such a new environment already. Daming bagong members. Way back, it was all cool. No, scratch that. It's still cool, but I feel like a stranger again. xb It rained a while back. Hard. Oi, low pressure ba o typhoon na ba talaga? XD ---- Tomorrow's report card distribution. Grades! And a chance to see my teachers and fellow classmates. Excited ako. hahaha. xb ---- Summer's a bit of a bummer. There's snail-paced time and the strike of boredom. I'm mostly online, surfing the net, Friendster, Multiply, TG, Teentalk, Youtube [YouCHOOB], and most of all, MYSPACE. You know what I do. Explore bands and fill up my list. Hahaha. But really. Who knows an avid supporter/fan of Pinoy indie/underground music who actually isn't even pure Filipino?
One is yours truly, the Pinay German girl with the tag Marzzy. :D ^__^ It's just plain weird because I'm here in the City of Smiles, namely, Bacolod. I never get to see gigs because, of course, they're mostly in Manila and other parts of Luzon... So, my only escapade is either Myspace or Youtube. The music and the videos. woohoo. ---- PANAAD SA NEGROS is drawing near. I will be going. Many activities will be happening. And bands will be playing. Contests. All the cities and towns of Negros will be represented through their respective 'houses'. And I heard Kris Aquino is going here, too. It will be a day. [Updated much?] --- Kitchie Nadal is coming to Bacolod. Album launch? Maybe. I do know her carrier single. "Highway." I think it's on the 17th... Not sure, though. ---- So, this is pretty much it for now. Ang lamig ngayon. Goosebumps. XD ----

EDIT
I'll be a vampirette and go above, over and beyond to sing and scream you a song. I've been listening to the self-titled album of Chicosci again and again. I'm not getting addicted. That's not the reason. But that's exactly my dilemma. I just don't know why. xb LOL. Okay... maybe because I have actually reached the point where I like them. I still remember before when I was around 13 or 14 that I never effin liked Chicosci. But now I do. Since last year. And before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sonny! Belated. I may not be a Vampirette [as I call it], but I realized that I always check their Myspace before I check out Pinoy indie bands. I know that they're working on an album and I definitely will grab a copy when it's out! XD And speaking of releasing an album, HALE is back with one! Above, Over, & Beyond is the album title. In fact, their lead single Pitong Araw is currently number 1 in RX as I've heard. I'm really looking forward to it. Not sure if it's out, though... :) So, there. I've talked about Chicosci and Hale. And albums. And I still want to talk about other bands, but if I do, it'll be a novel. So, to alter that a bit, I'll talk about my future band [ like that is ever going to happen ]. xb I've been doing some daydreaming and night dreaming... First, I thought of naming it VIM. I searched Myspace and there was a band named like that already. Then, I thought to add an 'N' at the end like: VIMN. But then, that looks odd and useless so I crossed it out of my mind. Then came CME or Color Me Euphoric. This really appealed to me the most. I was considering this. But then one day, I came upon SASP. And I liked this as well. Sheer Altered State Panic. Then I had to search for that. Unfortunately, there was SASP but it was something totally different. Get this: SASP is an association. Scandinavian Association for the Study of Pain. LOL. LOL. LOL. Okaaay. Not synonymous but this might just be too.... uhmm. NO. But who really cares? It's either CME or SASP. ^__^ So, what would you like to name your band if you ever had one? __________________ Finally. Rain, rain, rain. At least, I get to feel real air conditioning now. I just looove this kind of weather. Right now, I hate sunshine and the feeling of heat. It's a TREAT. It's really overcast and cool outside, too. I like this. I might edit this later. TTFN. ♥ rain. woohoo. xb

No, I won't be talking about my Sunday. LOL. Actually, this entry will pretty much be pointless but hey, you know how boredom takes on you. I went to the mall with my cousin and sister. After eating at Red Ribbon, we went to WOF and did some karaoke. :} After each song, your score is revealed. I sang Goodbye to You by Michelle Branch. I got a 93. Hmm, not bad. LOL. Then, I sang Sunday, Bloody Sunday. It was the original by U2. Well, I got so used to singing to the cover by Paramore. It was slightly different, but I still managed to pull it off. Surprisingly [for me], I got a 100! LAWL. I know, I know. I mean, it can't be too accurate, can it? Still, you know the feeling you get when you score the 'grand prix'. Ehem, ehem... pwede na maging vocalist? AHAHA. Oh well. --- I just read the newspaper yesterday and came across the headline that BACOLOD is the MOST LIVABLE CITY in the PHILIPPINES. Wow! Makati is second. Nice! I mean, that's really an achievement. :) City of Smiles. ----

Interesting. ;) And about the album title, according to lead singer Stephen Christian: "We will all come to the point in our life where we have to admit that we feel defeated, that something has conquered us.

|
|
|
|

|
|

PLUGGING: Ang Sarap Dito by Project 1 See it here.I love that song! It cheers me up. :] --- Hmmm, now what? For the sake of a new blog entry, I don't know what to talk about. Well, it's been a boring summer for a start. It pretty much is for everyone. xb But, on a happier note, I'm looking forward to something even if I still don't know what. LOL. I just got this 'feeling'. --- I watched my very first movie for the summer! Yay! Ehem-ehem. MEET THE SPARTANS! gahd. So laaaaaate. xb ANDITSUCKED BIGTIME!
