Thought Process
"Take me. Leave me, wake me, I'm dreaming. Make you, Break you, I'll make you, I'll save you. It's what you want, it's what you need. It's part of you, it's part of me. I'm what you want. I'm what you need. I'm everything. It's what you see..."

sunshine. rain. sunshine again..

I arrived in school at exactly 10 AM. Claire and Aika were already there, so it was a good thing I wasn't the first. We waited for a bit, then decided to drop by the Courtyard across the street and buy some food.

After a Chicken Caesar Sandwich and Cheese croissant, we went back to the waiting shed and waited and waited and waited. 10 AM was the official assembly time but it was 10:40 and still no one arrived. One minute later, Neil arrived and so did Stephanie, Karlyn, and the others. We were incomplete, though. Not good, I know. But it's our grade in club, too.

Since there was our farewell party at lunch time at the Metrodome, we decided to go and shoot the remaining important parts there instead. So, we took a jeep.

We arrived some minutes later. We ate at Jay-M Manokan. I wasn't feeling at all hungry so I had a sandwich AGAIN. lol. Chicken din. xb

It started raining while everone was still eating.
After we finished eating our meals, I decided that we start taping outside the metrodome[there was a roof] so as not to waste time. TIME IS GOLD pa naman.

It was pretty funny. It was really raining hard now. All of a sudden, we saw a green car literally running backwards on the street. Weird. Really weird.
There was a strong wind and we somewhat got wet because of it.

Since we had a shortage in characters, we asked some of our classmates to act as the gods and goddesses. Modern style.

It was a 'fight' scene... and of course, it was a pretty noisy one. The guard scolded us a bit. LOL. We forgot there was a spa at the other side of the dome, just near to where we had eaten. xb

Eventually, we finished. By 2:20, we all decided to go home. We rode a jeep back to La Salle. Got picked up then straight home.

Tiring, but worth it.

SLAPSHOCK is coming to the city! Tomorrow at Bacobuz Restobar, Bacolod City!
I really want to watch, but it's at 8 PM and that means I won't be allowed to go. Darn. Too bad. I'll be missing the chance. Hopefully, someone takes a video of it. :)

Last Day- Yehey!.

YES!!! Finally, it's summer! It feels so great! LOL. At last, we got the break that we wanted. :)

Tomorrow though, I'm going back to school at 10 AM to finish our output for Young Performers. If you had read the previous post, it's the continuation of our short film.

Then, at about lunch time, I'm off with my friends to go to our farewell party. Chicken inasal, baby!

Whoa. Another school year has finally come to a close. Two months of vacation for us, students.

Probably, I'll be staying here most of the time. I might go to Cebu to renew my German passport... xb

Well, I'm attending a wedding of one of my cousins on the 5th of April, too. Count that in. :)

Updates tomorrow.

Happy Easter Sunday! But on study mode..

Happy Easter Sunday! Anyone up for some egg hunting later?
Ehem, who's too old for that? xb

I'll be stuck here at home though. Tomorrow, our exams starts. At least, we got the session in the morning. That means, we have dismissal at 10:30. I'm really envious...still. Others got their summer going smoothly already. ;)

It feels as if we're the last to get the jump-start for it. No worries, I know. HAHAHA.
Right after all the exams, I swear, I'm going to throw my books here, there... XD

I don't know, but it really feels different whenever the end term comes along. It's like you just want the exams to be through in a zap. Truthfully, it's been a ride with the past quarters and now, it feels like a boat ride through easy waters. You know how you get the feeling, "I don't really care that much anymore and I want it DONE."

So, there. Study mode first. Slip away into happiness later. [reminds me of the HappySlip song...] xB

exams..

We don't have any classes today and tomorrow, since it's still the Holy Week.
I've been doing some advance studying, just so something can go into my head already. Here's the exam schedule: :}

March 24-27, 2008

Monday: Science, Rhetoric
Tuesday: Math, THE
Wednesday: Computer, English, Christian Living
Thursday: Filipino, Social Studies

I guess, we're pretty much late. Others are enjoying summer.
We're spending Holy Week finishing projects like the Pedigree Analysis in Science, database system in Computer, and portfolio in English.

I bet, no one really has officially started reviewing just yet. It's hectic. But everyone has to cope with that...

Basically, it's exam week and then finally, it's summer vacation! But that doesn't exempt me yet.
After the exams, I still have to finish videoing our short film for our club output in Young Performers.

It's quite hard being in charge of the whole thing and filming at the same time. It's a good thing Neil's around to help me out! Go, scriptwriter! We got to do the whole editing sham.

Pros? Not exactly. We got to get it all figured out first. xD

So, hmmm, what's been on my mind lately? Nothing much. Though our Oral Defense in Science was quite nerve-wracking. We didn't get to be interrogated because other groups might not have enough time to present theirs to the panel of judges. Honestly, I was a bit relieved. I was in tension the whole time. LOL.

So, until here for now. ;)
Sunday, March 16, 2008 @ 3:38 PM
.

Whoa. Busy, busy, busy.

Tomorrow's our Oral Defense of our Science Investigatory Project. shiver shiver.

And we've got four long tests lined up. Two tomorrow and the other two on Tuesday.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is no-class day because it's Holy Week.

Still, it's no happy mode here. Some will be working on projects and most likely start reviewing for the exams which will be the week after. Yeah, it's quite a drag, but there's studying to do and projects to be passed on deadline. :}

So, I've got my constructive speech ready for Rhetoric. I'm on the affirmative with the proposition:

Man behavior is a reflection of the society he belongs.

We get to have three minutes to explain our side. Then, the teacher might pop you a question and you have to answer directly. Somewhat like a debate 'feeling' kind of thing.

Well, definitely, it's really been hectic for me.

On another side of the note, we just had our last PPA or Free Design Day.
Water balloon fight.
Bingo.
9E Amazing Race.

It was fun, considering that it really was the last free day of the school year. :D

kismet. my word of the week, too. x].

kismet [kíz met, kízmət]
noun

It means fate or destiny. I never knew that...But I do know that I have come across it. It's funny how I never even bothered to search for the meaning of this six-lettered word. xb

What made me remember 'kismet' was listening to Killerbee a while ago. Thanks Kelly!
Now, I can use kismet instead of destiny or fate in sentences. XD

---
I realize now that trying to list down everything alphabetically is really effective.
Take this, for example.

I just began listing down every indie, local underground PINOY band on my quite disorganized list that I have stored in my file. I admit; it's easier that way. That is, whenever I do my Myspace 'exploration', it's pretty much convenient scrolling down to that particular letter and adding a certain band.

And mind you, I just don't list bands down just for nothing or for the matter of making my list longer. I listen to their songs as well. And that's part of my history of already getting to LOVE the PINOY underground scene. Tatak Pinoy! xB

Anyway, getting an overview about our PE Culminating Activity...

Hmmm, let's see... the heels we're killing me. That is guaranteed, even if I didn't get any blisters. My feet were a bit sore from walking back to the classroom from the Coliseum.

You bet, I changed to casual attire right after. ^_^

---
I'm looking forward to summer. Really much.
No plans yet, though.

But still really looking forward.
But I really want to see live gigs. Bands! I crave! hehehehe...

And talking about bands...

Hale, which I formally liked, is getting back on track. Finally!
They will release a new album I think sometime in April or June...?
I'm looking forward to that as well. Because I still like them... Ehem, not like Cueshe'. xd

---

I hope kismet will lead me to some gigs... REASON: Music saves ME!
if not now, in the future. See? I used 'kismet' in a sentence. Woohoo! LOL.

Music saves me.
Makes me euphoric.
Tries to switch me into vim mode.
And leads me to catharsis. Sometimes.

Got that? Good. ^__^ And those are my words, bee-tee-doubleyouuuu.

it's untitled..

First off, we had our class recollection yesterday. It went fine.
Of course, it was a bit emotional when everyone had to sit together.
Affirmation Circle. Saying something positive/negative to someone in a gentle manner, of course.
We call it 'prankahanay'.

That means being really frank and straight to the point. There were some tears, but it was all good.
Everyone received there palancas with 'Happy Reco!' written again and again.

---
Hmmm, tomorrow's the day. PE Culminating Activity.
It's dancing the boogie and swing on heels/wedges for mostly every girl... lol.
Well, slippers/flipflops are ready after the performance. You know the drill...

Temporary blisters.
Sore foot/feet.

XD Oh well.

So, I have recovered from the strain. The busy-ness. The stress. The 'nosebleed' feel. The rush. The throbbing headache.

It's all subdued already.
Because exams are near! And it's moratorium week. Nearly there.

March 24-27---final exams! At last. Then, summer! ;)

I tried, so hard (but it's too late)
Accomplished all that I could (to take back everything you said)
These fights, I lost (how could you)
I lost without you (take away everything we made)

Lines from The Departure by A Vacant Affair. Love them! Go Singa-CORE!
It's a band from Singapore. Obviously.
Sunday, March 2, 2008 @ 4:45 PM
Woohoo. It's schoolcore. xx.

IT IS SCHOOLCORE for me, for my classmates, and basically everyone else. The Seniors are having their final exams this week. March 4 to be exact. That leaves Grades 8-10 with exams on March 24-27.
It's quite a rush. xD We're having our recollection on Wednesday and that's a relief. A bit. On Thursday, we're having a practice at the covered court for the PE Culminating activity. And THAT'S already this coming Friday. It's the Grade Nine dancing the boogie and swing! Eeep. Make that a fantasy for me. Or surreal. Yeah, that would be better.

It's almost Holy Week. There's no class, of course. I know, some would be fasting or doing abstinence...
But here's the fact: I'll be 'suffering.' Not literally taken.
Holy Week is the week before our exams.
Meaning, the scenario would be books lying on the table [or maybe even stacked], notebooks on hand, ballpens scribbling/writing... You get the picture.

Schoolcore.
Schoolcore.

Make my remaining schooldays easy and let them glide. Please. :]

Hehehe.

SUMMER! Malapit naaa. xb
